The Passionate Tabby to His Queen
Authors Notes: I wrote this for my English class, so it's based on this old poem which HAD to include some weird lines. 0.o
Come live with me, and be my love,
And we will all the pleasures prove,
Those tall trees, flowers, and grass,
Beautiful lakes, and rivers we'll pass.
We'll sit upon the tall wooden fences,
Stay in the sun and relax our senses,
Away from two-legs and all others too
To simply be together, us two.
I will sit by you and purr,
Letting all pass like a blur.
I'll look into your eyes as you watch mine;
Your loving look will be my sunshine.
If you grow hungry, we won't stay,
And in the forest we'll catch some prey.
Mice, rabbits, shrews are plenty;
Slowly, quietly, take out steps gently.
From the satisfying hunt, the scent is strong,
Like the early chirps of a bird's sharp song.
Fully and contently we will feed,
But I'll share mine because it's you I need.
It's early new-leaf, this season;
I'll always love you, for every reason.
If these delights thy mind may move,
Then live with me, and be my love.
