Quiet, peaceful camp A single snowflake falls So white, so small Dancing upon a breeze Descending down to earth Lands upon a tabby's nose
A brown tabby, looking up To see the first of winter's wrath And to think about his life And all that has past As his despised winter falls And wraps the world in white
Another season has passed Has his redemption come? Can he be freed from the weight of his wrongs, at last? He is still fighting his own battle Torn between ambition and loyalty Torn between his heart and his head
Many moons later, he has made his choice Following that same path he's treaded many times Slowly striding to the destination he can deny no longer
